Meet The Owner

Greetings, my name is Tea Anthony, I have been in the childcare industry for 12 plus years. I am passionate about our children and giving back to the community. I am a mother of one biological daughter but a host of children from being a childcare provider, teacher and God Mother. I am also vast on teaching our children about subjects we didn’t get educated in school and still not providing teaching or giving resources out on. Which is a finical literacy. Alone with healthy eating choices and dealing or managing your emotions. I am an Early Childhood Educator to some of the most astonishing children that I have ever cared for. I work at the best day care that I have ever worked at with some of the most excellent team players that I have ever known in this field. Which is Reaching for the Stars and being around my little ones.

I am who I am today because of all the caring people that has guided me along the way. People that showed me genuine love, empathize, sympathize most importantly was and patient with me. That’s one reason I am heavy on giving back to the communities that helped me alone the way and passionate about our upcoming children. Those small things can make a big impact on others, and we may not even know it.

One of my first memories of caring for baby, when I was 6 years old. My mom had my little sister and, I asked my mom if I could babysit her? My mom said yes. And from that point I was the babysitter. From watching my younger siblings, cousins and friends of the family’s children. To volunteer at childcare establishments and started taking course at the Four C’s building in 2006. During my high school years and college summers when I would come home. I also have taken courses for education during college that lead me to ECE. Which made me want to take other courses alone with workshops and trainings for childcare. In the fall of 2020, I started to take my next four major childcare courses at MATC for ECE. This coming fall 2023 I will have completed my credentials for Early Childhood Education, and I will change over my profession title to an Early Childhood Professional. It feels great to be able to be the owner, director alone with being an early childhood professional.

I have grown in many different perspectives when it comes to being the childcare provider and as a parent. I have learned that you need to have trust and communication while caring for other people’s children. Alone with being a good listener, be open to new ideas and techniques. Lastly be passionate and genuine with children no matter what. One major component I have taken when working with children is never take anything personal, alone staying with consistent and having patience with them. It will take you a long way and keep you from stressing so much.
